These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Mentrik AI website, software, and associated services, including our flagship product, MentorMatch AI. By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you represent an organization, such as a university or college, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
1. Your Privacy and Data Compliance (GDPR & FERPA)
Your privacy is critically important to us. Our data collection and use practices are described in our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
FERPA Compliance
For our educational institution partners, Mentrik AI is fully compliant with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA). We utilize data provided via your Student Information Systems (SIS) integrations strictly for authorized educational purposes and do not sell or rent student data.
GDPR Compliance
Mentrik AI is fully GDPR compliant, providing users in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland with the right to access, correct, or delete their personal data.
Data Aggregation and Security
We process data using secure environments to create comprehensive profiles for participants, ensuring protected data at all times.
2. A2P 10DLC and Automated Communications Compliance
Mentrik AI utilizes automated outreach campaigns and AI-driven scheduling to recruit alumni, confirm participation, and set up meetings.

Consent to Communications: By providing your phone number and checking the opt-in box, you consent to receive logistical, support, and promotional communications via SMS text message from Mentrik AI. Consent is not a condition of purchase.

Message and Data Rates: Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies.

Carrier Liability: Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Age Restriction: You must be 18 years of age or older to participate in Mentrik AI’s SMS programs.

Opt-Out & Help: You may opt out of SMS messaging at any time by replying STOP to any of our automated messages. For assistance, reply HELP. Opting out may limit the functionality of automated meeting setups.
3. Using the Services and Support
MentorMatch AI is a web-based software utilizing AI to onboard students and recruit alumni.

AI Compatibility Matching: Our proprietary algorithm matches students and mentors based on career goals, personality fit, and skills.

Online Data Integration: We integrate with platforms like LinkedIn and Salesforce and utilize AI-driven searches to identify volunteer alumni.

Institutional Oversight: University administrators retain full control and review all matches before connections are finalized.
4. Code of Conduct
By using Mentrik AI, you agree you will not:

Use the platform for illegal activities or facilitate harm.

Abuse, harass, or spam mentors, mentees, or administrators.

Attempt to reverse engineer or manipulate the proprietary matching engine or scraping tools.
5. Payment Terms and Subscriptions
Mentrik AI offers tiered subscription plans based on institution size.

Community College Plan: $5,000/year for up to 3,000 students and 15,000 alumni.

University Standard Plan: $25,000/year for up to 18,000 students and 90,000 alumni.

Custom University Plan: Tailored pricing for complex needs and white-label branding.

Donor Sponsorship Model: Billing may be handled between Mentrik AI and a sponsoring donor.
All fees are non-refundable unless stated otherwise in an enterprise agreement.
6. Service Availability and Updates
We strive for 24/7 availability but are not liable for occasional disruptions or outages. We reserve the right to change, update, or discontinue features without liability.
7. Warranties and Limitation of Liability

Warranties: Mentrik AI provides services "as is". We make no explicit guarantees regarding specific career outcomes or job placements.

Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mentrik AI and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the services.
8. Binding Arbitration and Class Action Waiver
Disputes will be resolved through final and binding arbitration. You agree to resolve disputes on an individual basis and waive your right to participate in a class action lawsuit.
9. Choice of Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State where Mentrik AI is headquartered. Disputes not subject to arbitration will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts within that jurisdiction.
